Ogopogo Media
We are a new media company which has been quietly acquiring some of Canada's most premium internet properties. Ogopogo Media currently has two core projects in various stages of deployment and development.
- Geo site network - Includes premium city name domain names based in BC's lucrative Okanagan Valley and beyond. To further grow this project, on March 20, 2008 Ogopogo Media purchased the BC Network (536187 BC Inc.). The purchase consisted of the existing network built over the past 10 years and 47 domains, including Kamloops.com, Revelstoke.com and Nanaimo.com.
Ogopogo Media destination sites will initially focus on Hotels, Real Estate, Restaurants and Attractions, before moving strongly into all facets of the local markets. - Job network - Includes premium job related domain names such as Jobs.ca, JobSearch.ca and Resumes.ca. Ogopogo Media will be building the jobs.ca platform from the ground up. It is our feeling that a job-site should offer easy navigation for the job-seeker and employer. After all, the point is to find a job or a great candidate, not spend hours looking for a needle in a haystack.
